Week 1

I graduated September of 2020. I have taken the NCLEX twice once January in 2020, and another January 2021, now looking to do my third time. The first few times I took it, I feel I didn’t study long enough. I studied for a week prior to my test. Nick is having us study for six weeks, and I feel like this is a much better duration to prepare.
I felt sad and defeated each time. Like I let down my daughter and my family who was counting on me to do better for them. Which is a big reason why I didn’t take it and waited a year in between each time. I question if nursing truly was for me or if I was cut out for it mentally if I can’t even pass one simple test.
This is the first week in class. I feel better like this will help as we’re going over many questions that were identical to my NCLEX on the topics I had. It makes me feel more excited to take it as I feel I’m understanding more and more each class.

Week 3

We are about halfway through in week three. I feel pretty confident as my Uworld scores are improving with each test I take. This class has helped me tremendously. I feel as Nick has really broke down everything and helped me understand many many topics that lead even into others making it easier for me to use that knowledge on questions. The repetitive nature of the class helps too as it’s becoming like second nature to me when he asks “What’s this and this” every day.

I highly recommend this class not only because it has helped me so much understand content, but Nick really has a way of breaking down things and helping you understand them. Nick truly cares and wants the best for his students. Example: a girl was sick in class and he even went to the gas station to get her some crackers and ginger ale. He has such a good heart and will work with you endlessly to get you to pass!

Week 5

This is week 5 and I am feeling pretty confident with my test coming up as the repetitive nature of class with hearing it every day, questions Nick has us doing, the reading in our books, and studying flash cards from his PowerPoints I feel prepared. My test scores on Uworld are going up as to when I first started too. I feel more prepared for the test than I ever have. Although I still feel tons of anxiety, I know I’m truly prepared as Nick really has broken down everything and helped me understand more material than I ever knew before.

Post Pass

Reflecting back on the last 6 weeks, I knew Nicks class was helping. I just didn’t know how much it truly was. During my NCLEX I kept hearing his voice say certain things we repeated in class several times. The repetitive nature of the class really helped me. I was so nervous to take the test again, but Nick believed in me and I did it with his help! I highly recommend taking his class if you’re struggling to pass or just looking for content. I failed twice and passed with his class! It was truly a life saver for me as now I get to practice as a RN and move on with my life. I was stuck for two years not being able to pass. I am so grateful for this course!
