Week 1
Hi I’m Kaitlyn! I went to a private college, graduating in September of 2021. I have not taken my boards yet. Right after graduation I put off my NCLEX, telling myself I would take it in a month. The months then turned into 4 months quickly, so here I am! I am excited to bring back old knowledge in this class and learn new! Knowing that in 6-weeks I will be able to pass my boards makes me extremely excited!
Week 3
Feeling more confident when answering Uworld questions. My test results are improving, all being above the average test scores. I am recognizing and understanding questions and answering accordingly. Nick is helping me gain knowledge on how to answer questions. Having the class a few days in a row I have found is helpful! My confidence is rising!
Week 5
The journey is nearing the end and I am very excited to see what the future holds! I have learned so much during these 5 weeks, more that I could have ever imagined. Next week will be the last week, then will be taking my NCLEX. Keeping up with studying and doing 50 to 100 UWorld questions daily has definitely been a struggle, but I have learned so much throughout this entire process!
After boards
Going into the process, I was extremely hopeful, looking forward to the weeks ahead. After graduating in September of 2021, I had not studied at all, forgetting a lot of the information I had actually learned in nursing school. Nick had everything well planned out and organized. Going into this course, each week we would go over different areas of nursing starting with fundamentals. Each week we would learn different information regarding the specific area, then do UWorld questions that correlated with what we had learned. By week 6 I was nervous, but confident that I could pass the NCLEX. I took the NCLEX a few days after the course had ended and passed with 75 questions! Nick was there every step of the way. He is a great teacher and mentor. I am very thankful for his knowledge and what this class helped me to accomplish!
