Week 1

Hello, I’m Jenna and I graduated with my BSN in 2023. I failed the NCLEX 3 times. After the third time, I emailed Nick to join his class right after I got my test results back. I felt like school did not prepare me for this exam. I had trouble incorporating different concepts together and how to properly answer the questions. Throughout my time in school, I have had test anxiety and would put pressure on myself to pass the NCLEX. After multiple attempts, I needed to gain my confidence back which I am working on. I also realized, I need to study harder and consistently retain information to be successful. During week 1, I have already noticed a difference in my skills answering questions and having a better understanding at Fundamentals, which I have not been great at in the past. I like the way Nick teaches with repeating information and having us fill in the banks when he is talking about concepts. I also like the way Nick told us to answer questions on Uworld and review the explanations to the questions. I also feel like Nick and peers in the class all want each other to be successful and are supportive of one another. I am already gaining more confidence after a couple of classes and can notice a difference in myself and my skills answering questions and containing information that I had struggled with in the past.

Week 2

I can tell I have gained a lot more confidence from week 1 and week 2. I am a little bit worried to get more into more med surg, but by Nick’s teaching I am less nervous because the way the content is taught to us makes me actually remember the content and helps me gain confidence in myself. I learned to do notes during the PasswithPass videos instead of waiting until lecture to write notes because I can look over my notes and videos before class to refresh my memory. I love the way Nick gets everyone engaged in class and helps us remember and understand content. I am still trying to figure out a time that works best for me to do questions, but I am working on it because I want to be successful. I will continue to try to be positive and have confidence in myself these following weeks and keep taking/reviewing notes and do more questions.

Week 3

During this week, I have realized how much content we have gone through and that I am retaining a lot of information. I am holding myself accountable to do more questions with family stuff going on and feeling like I haven’t been in the right mindset. I am feeling less scared/anxious to take the NCLEX due to feeling like I have learned so much already. My confidence is definitely getting better as well. I know I am not great at each subject we go over, but I feel like I am learning a lot and hopefully when we go over more content that I know I am not great at I will feel better and understand it. I need to read the book more and do more questions to raise my confidence with the content and preparing for the NCLEX.

Week 5

I feel more confident about taking the NCLEX, but I am still nervous/anxious. I still feel a little bit of doubt due to nerves and having failed multiple times. I always get really bad test anxiety, but I feel a lot better about passing and taking the test. Over the last 5 weeks, Nick has made me feel more confident and I feel like my knowledge has expanded immensely. We have covered a lot of content within 5 weeks, but I am actually understanding the content and gaining a lot of confidence. I have learned how to slow down and read the questions. I am ready to pass and become a nurse. I think we have all worked hard throughout these 5 weeks and are able to become nurses. I will become a nurse.

Week 6

This course has prepared me differently from things I have done in the past because I have never been taught the way Nick teaches. I love the way he teaches with repetition and tying other subjects together. I am an audio learner, so I like listening to the lectures multiple times and repeating the information back in class. I also love the way Nick reads through the questions with us and tries to help us prepare on how to answer questions on the NCLEX. This class is more than what I have done individually in the past because I would answer questions online and not take my time on the questions. I also would not go through each answer option and actually explain why it could be the answer or not. I am going to be successful on the NCLEX this time because my scores have been the highest I have ever gotten and I am getting positive responses from NIck and classmates to ease anxiety and build confidence. I need to remember this confidence when I walk into the testing center and not get caught up on questions I have already answered when taking the test because I know I do that and I need to keep moving forward. I am confident in myself and the work I have put in and my classmates. I am going to be a nurse!

After passing the NCLEX

From Nick – Jenna passed the NCLEX with 85 questions. She overcame her anxiety and studied hard throughout the program. Each student’s success in this program is their own. I will 100% give you a reasonable study plan, create accountability, provide a safe learning environment that promotes camaraderie, and help you succeed. It is up to each student to put in the work. Jenna was amazing, she did her daily Uworld questions and succeeded in becoming an RN! Congratulations Jenna!
