Week 1
I studied for almost 2 months for the NCLEX, primarily using Uworld. Initially, I was scoring only 62% on everything I did. Perhaps I did not fully understand the material at the time. However, I noticed an improvement, and now I am scoring 70% or higher. This might be because I have shifted my focus to fundamental topics only. I continuously remind myself of the importance of studying no matter what and doing my best, which gives me the energy to practice more questions. Achieving good scores motivates me to do even more practice questions.
Week 2
I believe I am making progress. I am studying everything related to the NCLEX, watching the PasswithPass videos on the website, and answering 50 questions. I have been achieving scores between 70% and 73% so far. My goal is to score 80% or higher on the practice tests.
Week 4
I feel like passing the NCLEX is going to be achievable, but at the same time, I am not confident. I do not know why, even though I am doing well with the practice questions and have been studying. An upcoming obstacle will be our Hindu festival starting next Monday. During that time, I will be quite busy because people come to my home to celebrate and we have to visit relatives homes. I have been shopping which is somewhat of an obstacle for my study routine. I used to study for 6-7 hours a day, but now it is more like 3-4 hours.
Week 6
I have noticed significant improvement when it comes to learning. When I watch your videos on PasswithPass, I used to take notes but would often forget the material shortly after. However, when you go over the same topics in class with repetition, it really helps me understand and commit the information to memory. This is the first program I have ever participated in and it is extremely helpful. As for the NCLEX, I feel somewhat ready, but also believe I need to dedicate extra time and effort to my studies.
After passing the NCLEX
It feels incredibly rewarding to have passed. The sense of accomplishment and the knowledge gained make the effort worthwhile. In the 6-week class, staying organized and consistent with study habits worked best for me. Breaking down the material into manageable chunks and regular review sessions were key. I would tell myself and others considering the class to believe in the process. Consistent effort, staying focused, and seeking help when needed can make a significant difference. Trust in your abilities and the support available.
Remember, success often lies in the journey as much as the destination. Keep pushing forward and stay committed.
