Week 1
I have debated doing this remediation course for a while. I am feeling defeated after taking the NCLEX a few times and overwhelmed with the test taking process in general. Nursing school was difficult with covid. I felt like we were not given the best instruction and teaching to be successful. I know Nick is an excellent instructor from having him in during nursing school. I am looking forward to becoming ready to take the NCLEX with confidence and freaking pass!
Week 3
I am becoming more confident with UWorld and understanding the ideas of each question. I am still hard on myself and struggling with feeling confident to pass board but definitely increasing!
You have basically taught the first year of nursing school in 3 weeks by breaking it all down and putting it out there in simple but “nurse minded” terms! Getting rid of the fluff! Things are starting to click and be a full picture!
Week 5
I am honestly not sure how I feel still.
Hopefully the next few weeks I’ll be able to continue Uworld and get more information. Not feeling too good about this Uworld – Wish I could have done this last test at home or had real ear plugs with me. I’m easily distracted.
So far, this class has really helped build my self-confidence and I am glad I took it. I am more hopeful now then at the beginning that I can really pass.
Post Pass
After several unsuccessful attempts and feeling completely defeated, I decided to attempt Nicks class. I had heard about from him and others I had gone to school with. To be honest- I was a complete nervous wreck! But I listened and followed his instruction! During the weeks of the class Nick encouraged us 100%, his humble and calm personality helped calm nerves! The day before I tested, this guy actually made time to message back and encourage my success even more. And I PASSED! The test still wasn’t easy, but I was able to apply everything I learned just from Nicks 6-week class! I couldn’t wait to tell him, and he celebrated as of a part of my family with me! Thank you doesn’t seem like enough!
Thanks Nick!
