Week 1

I graduated in May of 2023. After passing nursing school, I was terrified of taking the NCLEX. I had a lot of fear that I wouldn’t pass. I took it for the first time in June and I failed. Then, I took it again in September and failed again. After failing it the second time, I knew I had to do something differently. Life happens and I found myself working a lot as an RNA and not prioritizing studying the way I should have. I barely had any motivation to study, especially every single day. I also think my test anxiety got the best of me.

I know how it feels to fail the NCLEX, not once but twice. After failing the second time, I knew that I needed to stay motivated and join this class so that I can stay consistent with studying, and pass on my third attempt!

Week 2

I am feeling pretty good after week 2. It has been a little overwhelming at times, but I do feel like I am grasping on to more information each day. I feel like I have improved a lot for the most part. My scores seem to be in a decent spot for week 2. I would like to see them be better for week 3. After fundamentals and leadership, my questions have been more challenging but I feel like I am doing a decent job. Doing 50 questions each day has really helped me in staying consistent with looking at material every day and expanding my knowledge with different things we are learning about.

I have been consistent on doing my questions, but I haven’t been as consistent with watching the on-demand PasswithPass lectures that are available. I know these are a great resources for me so with ending week 2 and starting week 3, I am going to hold myself accountable to watching these lectures more and diving into more material that I am not as comfortable with.

For the most part, I have found myself being more confident with material. I am not always confident when doing questions, especially the last few days since the material is getting harder. I have a few scores in the 60’s which I don’t like to see. Just means I need to keep working harder to stay in the 70’s and see my scores go up into the 80’s soon!

Week 4

I think passing the NCLEX is achievable for me! I have improved in many areas throughout these past weeks. Being halfway through this course and knowing that I will be taking my NCLEX in 3 weeks gives me some anxiety. Although, I know continuing to prepare and practice for it will make me less anxious and more confident.

I have been spending more time studying and reflecting on what I am doing well and what I still need to work on. This past week, I have been better about watching the on demand lectures, which have helped me retain the information much better. I am starting to become more anxious as each week goes on, since that means my NCLEX date is approaching me sooner and sooner.

Week 6

This six week class has been full of ups and downs- gaining confidence but also doubting myself some days. I have gained a huge amount of knowledge throughout these six weeks, as well as the confidence I need in order to pass my NCLEX. This class is completely different from any other class/program I have attended. Nick is great at breaking down content in a way that makes the content easier to learn and easier to apply to questions/scenarios. There hasn’t been a day since the six week class started that I haven’t heard from Nick. He keeps you accountable and encourages you every single day to put in the work and to do your best!

Doing my 50-100 questions nearly every single day has helped me in so many ways. Every single day I am learning more material or learning how to apply the information I already know. Also, having a support system has contributed to my success, as well as wanting this for myself. Honestly, I will say that I am nervous. The word “fail” makes my stomach turn because I know how it feels. I have been there more than once. Although, I will continue to put in the work for the next 4-5 days. I will do my best to remain positive and continue to tell myself that I will be a nurse (on November 6th of course)!!

Post pass the NCLEX Kylee

I AM A NURSE!! After six weeks of hard work and dedication, I can finally put RN behind my name. I have worked so hard for this, and it has finally paid off, and it is the best feeling in the world. I remember being so upset and defeated after failing the NCLEX on my second attempt. After failing, I knew I had to do something different. I had heard so many great things about this 6-week class from some of my friends who had previously taken the class, so I reached out to Nick. I am forever grateful that mine and Nick’s paths crossed because I whole heartedly believe that this class is the reason I passed my NCLEX on my third attempt. Nick does an amazing job at breaking down material and making it easier to understand. Throughout the six weeks, he was my hype man every single day. He was constantly encouraging me to work hard, believe in myself, and to be confident. That’s exactly what I did and it got me here! I took my NCLEX three days ago, it shut off at 85 questions and I walked out of there knowing that I had passed! I will forever preach that this class and having Nick as my instructor is the reason that I passed. Third time’s a charm!! Thank you, Nick!!!
